The Family and Friends Support Group was founded in 1993 to help family members affected by OCD. This group was started by the Goss family, members of the OCD support group.

After discussions with the facilitator, therapists, and other family members attending the group the decision was made to start a Friends and Family meeting as part of the OCD Support Group.

This group is believed to be the first OCD Support Group specifically for friends and family in this area. Over the years this group has helped hundreds of family members and friends to learn more about OCD and to support their loved ones that suffer from OCD.
